I think a better name for the Trump-Putin Summit in Helsinki could be, “When Republicans go Hippie” or, “When Republicans Became Idealistic, Utopian, Hippies”, with the subtitle being, “Give Peace a Chance.” I can just see what would’ve happened if let’s say, gee I don’t know George McGovern, Ted Kennedy, Dennis Kucinich from back in the day, took this approach with any dictator whether the dictator was a rightist like Vladimir Putin’s case or a leftist like Nicholas Maduro in Venezuela, the Republican Party would have a nationalist freakout calling any of those Democrats American traitors and appeasers who should be locked up, the American Neville Chamberlain. ( Sorry for the Chamberlain reference, if you’re not familiar or knowledgeable about history )

Not saying all Republicans now sound like they’re idealistic, utopian, hippies, who’ll be calling for the end of racism, war, hunger, and poverty, not just in America, but around the world tomorrow. Not all Republicans today talk like they live on marijuana farms who only live there for the free pot and not to sell it, just saying too many of them do. Just saying too many Republicans, would like to go back or visit for the first time the late 1960s and live in San Francisco and be around other people who believe everything that is bad about the world can be eliminated if people just want and campaign for it.

Some Republicans have stayed home and missed the last spaceship flight to Planet Utopia and are not only still in touch with the real world and don’t just have relatives, friends, and colleagues on Planet Earth, but physically and mentally still live here. Like Senator’s Flake, Corker, McCain, Graham, Rubio, even Senate Leader Mitch McConnell, as well as plenty of House Republicans like Ed Royce and others including the Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. Just saying too many Republicans have taken the Trump flight to Utopia when it comes to President Trump, President Putin and Russia.

And because of President Donald Trump’s attitude and what seems to look like an admiration if not friendship for just Vladimir Putin, but other dictators like Kim Jung-Un from the Communist Republic of Korea, he becomes a national joke and target for comedians including cartoonists over at The Economist. People who normally live in the real world both physically and mentally, but make fun of people who vacation on other planets that look and sound nothing like Planet Earth. Whatever you think of President Donald Trump, gotta admit that he’s great for comedy about himself.

Which just goes to show you that whatever touch and feel that Donald Trump may have had when he was running for President this natural feel for how voters feel about him and feel in general, he doesn’t seem to have much of that as President Trump. And makes big decisions like this like appeasing a Russian dictator believing it will play very well for him politically, instead of blowing up in his face like a guy pumping gas while he’s having a smoke at the same time. ( What could possible go wrong? ) And in this sense President Trump, is starting to sound and act like President Jimmy Carter without President Carter’s intelligence, experience, character, as someone who doesn’t have much of a feel about American politics as far as how Americans feel about what’s he’s doing and about him personally.

For the life of me I don’t understand why today’s so-called Progressives ( radical hippie, Socialists, Communists in actuality ) love affair or admiration with Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez. Progressives are supposed to be people that are about progressive through government action like democracy and yet they defend people, who are anti-democratic. Who’ve attempted to centralize power with their presidencies, in President Castro’s case, have been successful in doing that. President Chavez’s case still trying to do that in the Bolivar Republic of Venezuela, still has that official name.

But if President Chavez is successful, they’ll basically be another Communist Republic in Latin America. He’s already been successful in nationalizing the energy industry, as well as at least certain parts of the media. But Venezuelan Democrats still have media outlets they can go to but in President Castro’s case, it’s official he’s had a Communist State in Cuba for over fifty years. This guy is not a democrat and never has been, he’s not even a Democratic Socialist, he’s a Statist, who wants his people to be subjects of the State. And Hugo Chavez is one of Fidel Castro’s biggest admirers.

So why would Social Democrats or Democratic Socialists, people like Sean Penn who I generally have a lot of respect for, respect him more as an actor ( but that’s a different story ) be standing up for people who are anti-democratic? First it’s Castro, now it’s Chavez, who is next President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation? Who’s not a Communist but certainly a Statist, who’s really Russia’s version of a Nationalist.

I can understand why Democratic Socialists would speak highly of European Socialists or Canadian Socialists, but all those people are Democratic Socialists. Those are the people that regressive so-called Progressives like Sean Penn and others should be speaking highly of. Not Communists in Cuba, Venezuela or anywhere else, people who hold their own people down, because they don’t want them to be powerful on their own. Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez aren’t people to be admired, unless you are a Communist.

Not Progressives seem to have this notion that Americans, especially the Federal Government, have no right to criticize people in other countries. Because we aren’t perfect, that we can’t speak out against voter fraud in Venezuela or anywhere else. Because we have voter fraud in our own country. If that was the rule, then no one would ever be able to criticize anyone else. Because no one is perfect and this would be a very quiet world.

Elizabeth Bruenig, is right that what’s called democratic socialism or social democracy, is not let’s just say it which is communism. The authoritarian-totalitarian wing of socialism. Britain and Sweden, are not North Korea or Cuba, so let’s just put all that into the record and evidence on the table, but that’s not my main point here. Where I disagree with Liz Bruenig, has to do with where she argues that democratic socialism/social democracy works well in the United Kingdom and Scandinavia, it would automatically work in America. That if we just replaced our federal form of government, our federal republic and replace it with a unitarian big centralized formed of government with a British or Scandinavian, or Anglo or Nordic welfare state, that would automatically work in America, since to works in Britain and Scandinavia. That is where she’s wrong.

It would be like arguing that since America has this liberal capitalist economic system that has produced the largest economy in the world where we’re the only country in the world with at least a 100 million people or more with a per-capita income of 50,000 dollars and one of two countries in the world with at least a 100 million people with a per-capita income of 30,000 dollars or more, Japan being the other, that Britain and Scandinavia, should scrap their democratic socialist models and replace it with a decentralized form of government and a liberal capitalist system, where the people there would have a lot of responsibility, but freedom as well to manage their economic and personal affairs.

We’re not a wealthy country, or a wealthy big country, a wealthy large country, we’re a wealthy huge country. Whatever you want to say about China, America’s per-capita income and living standards are still about eight times greater than China’s. Even when China’s economy passes America’s as the largest in the world, China will still be a developing country where the only people who are doing well in China economically are people who live in their biggest cities, with everyone else in the country and that would be hundreds of millions of people in China living under third-world living conditions.

A big part of the discussion that Democratic Socialists like Senator Bernie Sanders and his followers in and outside of government in America like to leave out or just leave out whether they’re aware of it or not, is that the countries they like to point to as having high living standards under a democratic socialist system, is with Sweden, Norway, and Finland, have very small populations. 5-10 million, with large pieces of land.

Sweden and Finland, are about the size of Turkey physically with a about 1-10th the population. Turkey is a large country with about 75 million people, similar to Iran. And Nordic countries are all large energy producers, oil and gas. Scandinavia, has a democratic socialist economic system, because they can afford it. Lots of money with very people to take care of. Very similar to how the Saudi Kingdom operates in Arabia.

So, if Democratic Socialists really want to scrap the American form of government with our federal system and replace it with a democratic socialist unitarian form of government with a socialist welfare state, maybe they should be pushing to get America off of foreign energy all together and making us completely energy independent. Getting us off foreign oil and gas altogether and producing American alternative energy like solar, but also more American traditional energy like nuclear, oil and gas. Bringing in the financial resources that it would take to fund this big socialist welfare state without having to tax Americans and American businesses to the point that it would make it very difficult to work or run a business in America, because of all the taxes that we would have to pay for Welfare.

Speaking of Hollywood parties which is what they’re talking about here, there was a famous Hollywood party involving Diana Dors and her then husband Dennis Hamilton, who sort of acted as Diana’s agent back in the 1950s. Diana Dors and actor Rod Steiger, worked in the Hollywood movie The Unholy Wife from 1956 and her husband Dennis and Teasy-Weasy Raymond ( no joke, that’s the real name ) put together a launch party for The Unholy Wife at Raymond’s Hollywood home in 1956. A lot of great Hollywood people were there including Doris Day, Lana Turner, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Ginger Rogers, and many others, as well as Diana Dors who was just getting her start in Hollywood.

It was very crowded around the pool and Diana and her husband and others, got pushed in the pool. Hamilton not being the ready for prime-time player that he was, the man wasn’t even a Hollywood agent and was sort of Hollywood’s version of an assistant tennis pro who survived only on his ability to get wealthy women like Diana to help him and take care of him. The man was a career amateur who thought more of himself than he ever was, gets up out of the pool and decks a photographer that was covering this scene. Hamilton and his adorable gorgeous wife Diana, naturally are kicked out of the party and by all intents and purposes are kicked out of Hollywood.”

But Diana goes back to England and is pretty much never heard from again in Hollywood, which was fine with her but a huge loss for the American movie and entertainment audience that would’ve loved to have her working her for the next 30 plus years. Because she really was a great entertainer and not just great to look at. A helluva actress, who was very funny and was a very good singer as well, but other than Richard Dawson had a bad habit of marrying men who couldn’t take care of themselves and were very needy and lacking in ability and needed her to take care of them.

Who knows, had Diana left her husband with a babysitter and went to the party by herself that night, that scene with her and others getting dumped in the pool accidentally might have still happened, the difference being that Diana was a pro and grownup ( unlike her husband Dennis Hamilton ) and would’ve handled it professionally and got out of the water and there would’ve been people there to help her dry off and sent to a bedroom to change and everything else and life would’ve moved on and perhaps Diana Dors has a great career in Hollywood, instead of a very short but memorable career. But this is one of those things that we’ll just never know.

And then they show a bunch of women in leather leggings, which I’m just not into.

We’re not just talking about a great actress, but a great comedic actress, satirist, comedian even, who has used her incredible sex appeal and physicality to make fun of people who only judge her by her physical appearance. As well as someone with her own successful fashion line and has become a successful fashion designer and bestselling author as well. Raquel Welch, the Hollywood starlet who is also a star, because she’s had one of the best careers as a Hollywood actress ever.

I didn’t get on YouTube at all until early 2009 when I finally got my first laptop computer ( I know, I was late to the dance ) because I wanted to get into blogging and finally created my own YouTube channel. Which I only use to view YouTube videos and still haven’t uploaded my own video yet. And I only created my own YouTube channel because I wanted to comment on a video and they told me I had to create my own channel to do that. The whole process took like two minutes and I didn’t think anything of it until I realized I had my own YouTube channel which showed my latest YouTube activity and people replying to my comments. I was very new to the who whole social media scene to begin with.

Anyway to make a long story short or actually turn a book into a few sentences, I started searching online and came across what someone called Katja videos. JeansSitting, which are basically soft to medium porn videos of these very beautiful and a lot of cases gorgeous and yet baby-face women, with beautiful bodies and they’re all wearing these skin-tight jeans that are so tight with the women’s bodies being so tight that if you whipped them in the legs or butt while they’re wearing these skin-tight jeans, they might not notice it. These denim jeans for the most part and in some cases skin-tight leather jeans that Jim Morrison or Joan Jett would be proud of, are so tight they almost look bulletproof. And all these women are also wearing tight long leather boots as well. And they would be wearing either very tight short t-shirts, tank-tops, and in some cases corsages as well.

So, to get to what this is about, there was or there might still be an adult entertainment website called JeansSitting. com and they might still be in business, but they no longer seem to be on either YouTube or Facebook and I don’t believe I’ve ever seen them on Twitter or Google+ either. Perhaps Tumblr, which seems to be the capital of porn websites, which is not a joke or even a jab, but there’s a lot of porn on Tumblr. And they would tape and photographed there models in the skin-tight outfits that I just mentioned, doing what they called jeans sitting, which is a woman sitting on a man and even a man’s face, with the beautiful tight strong body, in their skin-tight denim and in some cases leather jeans.

You would see these woman squatting on a man’s body and even face lost as if she’s going to the bathroom, but doesn’t got that far. You would see these strong women who would completely dominate these young men and of course they’re play acting, but that’s exactly what they’re doing and it’s very sexy even in adult entertainment or porn form. These women would be acting as dominatrix’s , who would completely dominate these men physically not by beating them up, but having them in complete submission. Sort of how third-world dictatorships, might torture their prisoners, but these guys are never in any danger and if anything like what these women are doing to them.

Speaking personally here, a woman who looks like this and is dressed like this, could dominate me like this anytime she wants. Even better if my girlfriend was doing this to me, so I wouldn’t have to explain it to her or justify it. Just as long as she doesn’t fart on my face which would be the las straw. She farts on my face or anywhere else on my body and I would have to say that’s the straw or last anything else that you want to use. I don’t care what’s she wearing when she farts on my. But in all seriousness. this is about as sexy as any activity I’ve ever seen. And the women and men who perform in these videos are completely dressed the whole time.

I was in eighth grade and for you non-math and school wizards that would be junior high back in 1990 when Mariah Carey first broke onto the scene and I still hadn’t heard of her at that point. It wasn’t until a year later ( when I was a freshman in high school, which would be ninth grade ) when I first saw her video Someday that I actually heard of her and thought she has a great voice and is also great looking and everything else and started becoming a big fan of her.

When I think of the voice of my generation and I’m now 42 years old and at the tail end of Generation X, I only think of two people. Whitney Houston, ( who tragically died at 48 in 2012, RIP ) and Mariah Carey who if anything is now more popular at the age of 48 today then she was even 20 years ago. And if you look and listen to her, what has she missed?

Nothing, she might be curvier now but in a good way. Not saying she’s even cuter now, but has she lost anything in that department? She’s still this hot, sexy, baby-face adorable goddess, who can still come off as a kid with those big beautiful adorable eyes, cheeks, and smile, and yet she still has not a great voice, but she still has the voice. Which is beyond great, because she has the voice that other singers are measured to. Are you as good as Mariah Carey or not.

And maybe Beyonce Knowles will replace her at some point and not be the voice of Generation X, because’s she’s not a Gen-Xer, but be not just the voice of her generation but the voice that everyone is measured by regardless of age and generation. Sort of how Frank Sinatra is viewed as the voice at least for male singers regardless of their age and what generation they’re from.

I mention all this to just completely waste your time. Actually, there’s a more substantive reason for that which goes to Make it Happen from Mariah Carey which now 26 years later and yes I was still in high school when it came out is still a great inspirational song. A great spiritual or even religious song as well and if there were more preachers who talked this way and chose to inspire people, instead of divide people based on lifestyle and sexuality, I might attend church now and then, because I would really get something out of even though I’m Agnostic.

Again, I’m Agnostic so I don’t believe in getting on my knees and praying to whatever Lord there may or not be, but the basic message of this song is right. That if you believe in yourself enough and know what you want, you’re going to make it happen. It’s obviously not that simple and you need to have more than self-confidence because your self-confidence has to be justifiable. You have to be as good as you believe you are when you’re confident and not just believe in yourself, but know that you’re good at what you do and then execute those skills to accomplish your goals.

As well as know what you’re up against and what they’re capable of and what they might do to try to stop you. And then be at your best when you have to be in order to accomplish your goals. And yes this is about the 2018 NHL Stanley Cup Champion Capitals and no, I’m not a sportswriter and don’t have beat, so take this piece about Capitals and NHL hockey in general for what it’s worth. But pre-2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Capitals didn’t make it happen. This is a club that every season under Barry Trotz which now goes back to the 2015 season, had exceptions of winning the Stanley Cup. Which at any point would’ve been their first Stanley Cup ever. This for a franchise that has won just one conference championship ( 1998 ) and played in one Stanley Cups Finals, also in 1998. And until 2018 have even only played in two conference finals and yet a good season for the Capitals during the last ten years or so was to get to the 2nd round of the playoffs which would be semifinals.

The Capitals would traditionally enter the Stanley Cup Playoffs at least as the favorite to win the Eastern Conference Finals, or at least get there and for several seasons to win the Stanley Cup Finals and yet pre-Barry Trotz would generally be eliminated in the quarterfinals. ( The 1st round ) Because again they didn’t make it happen, because they were either overconfidence or overrated. They would get bad goaltending when they needed good goaltending the most. Or their offense would simply not show up and would get shut out during an elimination game. Which happened to them both to the Pittsburgh Penguins and Tampa Lightning in the last few years during the playoffs.

The 2018 NHL season was different for the Capitals. They were no longer expected to win it all and probably for several reasons. They hadn’t done it yet or even advance to the Eastern Conference Finals with the current crew and head coach. They were getting older and the Penguins and Lightning were still there to beat them.

Like I said, 2018 was different for the Capitals than 2015-17 when they were eliminated in the semifinals in each season by either Pittsburgh or Tampa. They played the Penguins in the 2nd round and the Lightning in the EC Finals and beat both clubs. Eliminated the Penguins in six games, instead of losing in seven or being swept. They beat the Lightning in seven games, including winning the final two games by shutouts. And then beat the Las Vegas Golden Knights ( a 2018 NHL expansion team ) in five games where really only two of those games were close. The first and last game and the Capitals could’ve easily won the first game as well and swept Las Vegas.

The 2018 Capitals not only believed in themselves and knew what they want, but knew how to get what they want. To quote the former great pro wrestler Ric Flair, to be the man, you have to beat the man. Which means you have to become the man and not just be your best when it matters most , but be better than your opposition when it matters most. Be better than the man when it matters the most. Winning a playoff game here or there and even playing your best in those games, is certainly and accomplishment and something to feel good about. But it means nothing if you don’t even show up when it matters the most. When you’re playing an elimination game and not just an elimination game, but a championship elimination game.

The Capitals could’ve lost the next two games against Las Vegas and still have won the Stanley Cup, but had the Cup in their sights and simply just took it by winning game 5 and beating the Golden Knights for the 4th straight time in that series. They made it happen by being their best when it mattered the most which was good enough to win the 2018 Stanley Cup Finals. And head Barry Trotz and the whole Washington Capitals organization, deserves a lot of credit for that.

I was never a fan of the show Happy Days and I always thought it was pretty cheesy, except for Fonzi ( played by Henry Winkler ) and maybe that’s because the show takes place in 1950s Midwest America before America looked like America does today with all the ethnic and racial diversity. Even though the show and series was made and shown in the 1970s when America did look and sound much different, than it did even 10, 15, 20 years ago. Or perhaps it just had a lot of cheesy writing. But I do like the She Devils episode and for multiple reasons.

This is a very funny episode and for multiple reasons. You got guys who are playing nerds here who other than maybe the dark hair guy, all look like they would struggle to benchpress their own pillow, who are getting pushed around ( to put it mildly ) by a female outlaw biker gang. Who are very tough and look like perhaps they could’ve played professional football ( and not just their leader ) and yet they’re all beautiful, very cute even, and also very sexy. With Richie ( played by Ron Howard ) the leader of the nerds ) trying to act tough and stand up against a bunch a women. Imagine that, American men feeling physically threatened by women and they’re all straight.

This show is not about a dykish group of lesbian outlaw bikers, who hate men and see the guys as easy targets and go after them. They’re does seem to be a radical feminist vibe to this show, but it’s about a straight female outlaw biker gang, picking on guys who look like chess club geeks and get paid to do the high school or college football team’s homework every night. Computer geeks who look like they go to the library for actual fun and not just research. Which is what most Americans use libraries for or to check out a book that they’re not sure about buying.

And then there’s another reason why I like this show which is more important. Not just a female biker gang or a female outlaw biker gang, or just a pretty or even cute female biker gang, or s sexy female biker gang. But a female outlaw biker gang with all of those features who are all leathered up. And in some cases wearing black leather motorcycle jackets with tight blue denim jeans and black leather boots. But with most of the women all leathered up. Black leather motorcycle jackets, skin-tight black leather jeans, and black leather boots. All of the women having beautiful tight bodies and kicking ass in these outfits as well.

So you have a very funny episode here with a feminist outlaw biker gang, who feel the need to get back at these guys who they see as nerds, because one of them ( played by Scott Bao, before he became a Donald Trump loyalist ) somehow wronged one of the members of the gang. Perhaps you could say screwed, but that can be interpreted in multiple ways here, but they believe he hurt their gang member in someway. And see these nerds with Chachi ( played by Scott Bao ) who is with them, as their opportunity to get back at Chachi.

And you also have a female outlaw biker gang with the characteristics that I’ve already mentioned, who are also very attractive and very sexy. Sort of reminds me of those outlaw biker movies from the late 1960s and early 1970s, that all had at least one attractive sexy woman in and generally multiple very attractive women in like the Glory Stompers from 1967 or go up to the 1980s with Easy Wheels from 1989. But this show was an episode from a TV series and not a movie. And yet the footage is just as good, if not better and the comes out in 1979 where you weren’t seeing many if any female outlaw gangs on TV at least, or anywhere else. This is a very good show.

The Economist: ‘Liberalism- Where Did it Come From and Are its Days Numbered?’

On this overcast, ugly, cool Memorial Day in the nations capital just outside of Washington, I thought as we celebrate as a country the lives of the people who died for our freedom, I would explain how we got that freedom as a country and the philosophy that our freedom and individual rights is based on. Whether you want to call it classical liberalism or as I prefer just liberalism, liberalism is what our individual freedom and individual rights are actually based on. No other political philosophy has given us that. As well to speak to The Economist piece, do I believe liberalism is in trouble in America and around the world or not.

Liberalism is based off of liberal democracy and the principles of what’s called classical liberalism. Representative democracy where the people elect their leaders and politicians. But what also comes with liberal democracy is individual rights and things like separation of powers. A free press for example so government can’t control both their own operations and enforcement, as well as the information that the people receive in the country. As well as free speech for individuals so people aren’t arrested or detained simply for disagreeing with the government or anyone else. And that right to express themselves so long as they aren’t falsely accusing, harassing people, or inciting violence. And that even covers offensive and hate speech. ( Sorry, political correctness warriors )

But not just a constitutional right to free speech which is a liberal right to free speech which covers a lot of ground, but individual rights, freedom, self-determination in general, that comes with limited government with again separation of powers, as well as the rule of law. People have the freedom over their own lives in a liberal democracy, but not the freedom to take someone else’s freedom away from them, especially the right to life ( another liberal individual right ) unless it’s in self defense. Our Founding Fathers ( our Founding Liberals ) didn’t create America because they wanted to bring the British authoritarian monarchy here, but because they wanted to get away from it and create a liberal free society based off of self-determination, individual rights, and limited government.

Do I believe liberalism is in trouble in America and around the world? Yes, but because you have two competing authoritarian populist factions that don’t believe in freedom and see it as dangerous. The Nationalists on the Far-Right, who don’t believe in immigration, integration, multiculturalism, the rule of law, a free press, would like to see views that are critical of them be outlawed and the people who express those views be jailed. We see this with the Donald Trump movement in America, but also with Nigel Farage Nationalists in Britain.

And we see it with young people in America and in Europe on the Far-Left. Who have more respect for Karl Marx and Che Guevara and see Communists and Socialists as their pop culture icons as well as ideological heroes. And look down at people like Jack Kennedy, Tom Jefferson, and other Liberals who gave us our liberal democracy and freedom. They see Liberals as corrupt and bigoted, but Communists as great people who should be celebrated. it’s not just the Bernie Sanders social democratic wing ( or Democratic Socialists ) that young people in America and in Europe are in love with ideologically and culturally, but authoritarians who are even further left of the Democratic Socialists in America and in Europe.

As long as you have these two growing political factions in America and in Europe, that see political diversity as a dangerous thing and that the other side aren’t just political opponents, but enemies, with both major political parties in America expecting their political party to nominate someone from their fringe wing or they won’t bother voting in the general election, liberalism and liberal democracy will be in danger in America. You’ll always have a President who believes that anything critical of him should be punished and not allowed to get out in the public, especially if it’s true. And an opposition party that believes they should not only defeat the party in power, but replace it with their own fringe and replace the Nationalists with Socialists and Communists, the people who believe in liberal democracy and freedom in general, will suffer.
