As I’ve already written about this:

“I wouldn’t say that the Tea Party House government shutdown is a political suicide mission, because this plan (if you want to call it that) doesn’t even seem to have a mission, or even a pilot. It’s more like drunk people at a pool with a group of them going up on the high dive, blindfolded, and one of them falls off and never makes it to the water. And that’s assuming that House Republicans are politically suicidal to go through with this. Or, are they just doing this for their right-wing-populist base and trying to tell them that they’re doing whatever they can to try to end the Affordable Care Act. (Also known as ObamaCare)”

I think the only way this ends, is if you see a group of maybe 20 House Republicans (who the a mainstream media likes to call moderates) who start feeling the heat about the government shutdown back home. As well as are worried about getting reelected next year, because they’re in swing districts, who represent Federal military, law enforcement, and other Federal workers, who need their jobs to pay their bills.

And these Republicans go to Speaker John Boehner and essentially tell him this: “Put a clean government funding bill on the floor, or I’ll vote for the House Democrats discharge petition, to get that bill on the floor.”
