Associated Press: ‘Senate Dems, GOP Largely Support Syria Action’

Associated Press: Senate Dems, GOP Largely Support Syria ActionSource:Associated Press– U.S. Senator Bob Corker (Republican, Tennessee) Ranking Member of the Foreign Relations Committee (113th Congress)

“Members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee say they support a US military strike in Syria, though Republicans say they have concerns about how it would be implemented, and the lack of support for Syrian opposition forces.”

From the Associated Press

Good to see the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee earning their big Congressional salaries today by coming back to Capitol Hill while Congress is still in recess and holding this hearing on Syria that is so important.

This is about everything and everyone who is involved here, like putting people in harms both Americans and people in Syria.

I wish the U.S. House would come back before Congress comes back next week and does the same thing. So Congress and the American people are as informed by this as much as they possibly can.

About Erik Schneider

I use the American Liberal photo as the cover photo for this blog, because that’s exactly what I am. And no, not in the stereotypical, sort of pop culture sense of what an American Liberal is supposed to be. But someone who represents what American liberalism, as well as European liberalism, and perhaps the liberalism of the rest of the world outside of the United States. Liberals are people who believe in defense of liberal democracy, as well as the preservation of liberal democracy. And of course we also believe in liberal democracy with all the individual rights, and other liberal values that come from liberal democracy, the liberal democratic form of government, like equal opportunity, equal rights, equal justice, property rights, individual freedom and freedom of choice for everybody, as well as limited but responsible government, and fiscal responsibility
