I’m in favor of raising the minimum wage to 10-12 dollars an hour under certain conditions. Like a break for small employers and allowing them to deduct thirty percent of it from their taxes. But that alone won’t bring down poverty, but it would be a big help to these workers as well as the economy. And the fiscal outlook for the country because you would see more people on public assistance going to work as a result.
