As sloppy as this process has been, we simply do not get here without a real threat of military force against the Assad Regime in Syria. And as badly as President Obama has sold his policy on Syria and how unpopular it has been, the fact is President Bashar Al-Assad is taken it serious enough to know that he had to reach a peaceful agreement here, that involved him giving up those weapons, or we was going to get it with military strikes.
